As a young travel and adventure photographer, Fabio Di Lima started his photography career capturing unique moments at live music concerts. Hand in hand with photography came his passion for producing films that made him travel to breath-taking destinations, bringing to life unique stories with a simple goal: to inspire people to go outdoors and experience the ultimate adventure of their lives in the most thrilling places of our planet.
Just as every story has a beginning, for me photography started with a DSLR camera, with a big body, which was too heavy to handle during the shooting process. Luckily, cameras have been changing over the years; they are more compact and lightweight, and Olympus does it best.
When it comes to travel photography, portability and quality are key. It is very important to have a compact camera with which you can travel without sacrificing quality.
Maintaining the original OM-D spirit, the new Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark III is a huge step up to creating the content that I’m really passionate about. This new camera gives me the possibility of travelling wherever I want and for how long I want.
When I’m travelling, I really want to focus on exploring new places, dive deep into that new culture, and feel free to create new content to inspire people.
The new E-M5 Mark III is so compact that I can easily put it in my backpack and still have all my personal essentials. I can even put it in the pocket of my jacket. It is a very reliable camera with 5-axis image stabilisation and unique shooting functions which can be recharged on the go. All of that in such a compact package, cannot offered by any other brand.
For me, a camera is not just something that enables you to capture images. It’s more than a tool that I can work with—both on photos and video. It’s something that gives me the chance to work on my content on the go without carrying tonnes of equipment and accessories.
